USID2010 Confrence - 4th International conference on Design, Innovation and UX held at HICC, Hyderabad, India.

USID Gurukul 2010,  an inspiration taken from “Gurukul”, a school concept from the ancient times. USID Gurukul 2010 brought together 48 students (Shishyas) selected from the disciplines of Design, Technology, Management and Social Sciences 
USID2009 Confrence held at "The Leela Palace Kempinski", Bangalore from 18th to 20th September , 2009 was 3rd in series of International conference on User Experience with two keynores by Jennifer Kilian , Creative Director of Frog Design and Dr. Carrie Gates, VP & Research Staff Member, CA Labs, CA. This conference had 18 speaker sessions and couple of new events including AcademicShowcase and Launch pod. USID2009 attended by 175+ participants representing more than 50 organisations.
With the maturity of organizing an event of this magnitude behind us in lieu of what we achieved with USID 2007, Debra Danielson set up the event with a presentation on how to deliver business value through design innovation and user experience. This time the event was moved to a more central location, Bangalore, which is a hub for many home grown businesses, and several multinationals. The representation of professionals, students, and academia at the conference, humbly reiterated our belief in our mission statement. 
Even though this was first edition of USID, the event went off really well. It then set the ball rolling for one of the most awaited events each year. Professor M.P.Ranjan set up the tone for the interaction, communication, & brain storming which was to follow over the next few days.
We at USID meet up with our stakeholders at least once a month, and see how we can strive for more, and offer an experience at the conference, which stands out. The involvement ranges from people from academia, corporate houses, and start ups. In addition, there are students from colleges who keep writing in to us, mentioning what they liked and disliked about the previous year's events. We then keep all our stakeholders in mind, and work for the next year's event, accordingly.
